DIAPHRAGM
Lan Shiuon Company produces three main types of diaphragms: for pumps, valves, and burst valve assemblies. In diaphragm manufacturing, we use high-density, high-strength, and high-toughness polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) filled materials.
For pneumatic diaphragm valves, to reduce pneumatic tension, the design of diaphragms may require a longer time. Lan Shiuon Company has overcome this issue by adding a layer of rubber to the PTFE diaphragm to compensate for PTFE's lack of elasticity. Although rubber alone may have lower strength, we have enhanced its strength and toughness by adding non-woven fabric to the rubber. This technology's application in diaphragm manufacturing highlights our commitment to quality.
Our diaphragms are produced in vacuum molds in a single step, providing higher quality in the diaphragm pump industry. Diaphragms are considered normal consumables in diaphragm pump operations. Diaphragms made solely from PTFE may show abnormal cracking after use, while high-quality diaphragms may normally break after a period of time.
Before leaving the factory, our diaphragms undergo high-toughness polymer testing to ensure small specifications can be used for approximately 18,000,000 to 30,000,000 cycles, and large specifications for approximately 6,000,000 to 8,000,000 cycles.
